Unfortunately not our day today, but the boys can hold their heads high. I asked for an “all-in” effort today and the guys did not disappoint, especially in that first quarter.
It has been a privilege to coach the boys alongside Mark this year, and hopefully the boys have loved being part of good footy team. I hope every single boy fronts back up next year for another crack at it. Everyone adds something to the collective, whether it is onfield, at training or being the character in the group (we have a few of those!). In regards to todays game (can’t help myself), the boys matched them physically for the first time, but got a huge lesson in workrate and hard running. As I tell the boys, getting numbers to the contest is crucial. They did that better today and deserved to win. In addition, we had no answers to their couple of star players. Beaten by a better side. Gives me plenty to work on next year ;) Thanks again to the boys, and thanks to the parent group. Have a good break, Mick

Absolute thriller against Northern Tigers today at North Dalton Park, Sam Thorne named best on ground. Well done boys.
Put on your blue and white and get yourself to North Dalton Park this Sunday to cheer on the Under 11 and Under 15 teams as they battle for a grand final win. The 11's take on Shellharbour at 9:15 and the 15's take on the Tigers at 12:45 in a rematch from last year. Both games should be crackers and well worth a look.
