During a weekend of no footy for our Under 11 dteam, we decided to play a game between the kids and dad's ( mums were invited too ). Great time was had followed by a bbq. The kids as you would expect took it in there stride but there were some dad's nursing muscles they had forgotten existed. Look out for another game in the future.

These boys are a testament to the club spirit we have at Figtree Roos. They have all played in the club and now have chosen to give back by volunteering their time to coach and manage our U/13's.
Kyle and Brady are working collaboratively on Tuesdays to train the U/13 boys. Kyle has been coaching on game days when he is available and Isaak has taken on team manager, organising the behind the scenes requirements of running a team. Each of these boys is busy with their school studies, representative football commitments, part-time work and their generosity is truly appreciated by our Club. Great work boys and thank you. April saw the Auskickers get to make their SCG debut during the half time of the Swans v West Coast game. By all accounts they all enjoyed the experience. Two home games have seen some fantastic weather and fantastic footy by all our kids. Thanks to all our volunteers who are helping to keep the bbq and canteen going as well as other game day jobs that need to be done.
Looking forward to the next games and seeing happy kids enjoying themselves. |
